This Privacy Policy describes how NgC Bot (“we”, “the Bot”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Discord bot and website (bot.nextgencode.dev).
1. Information We Collect
- Discord IDs: User IDs, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs necessary for bot functionality.
- Message content: Only when required for moderation features (automod, logging) on servers where these features are enabled by administrators.
- Usage data: XP points, giveaway entries, ticket records, and configuration settings stored per server.
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store Stripe customer/subscription IDs linked to guild IDs.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide moderation, leveling, giveaways, tickets, and other bot features.
- Manage Premium subscriptions and server access levels.
- Improve bot reliability and fix errors.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Storage & Retention
Data is stored on secure servers operated by the bot host. Configuration and usage data is retained while the bot is active on your server. You may request deletion by removing the bot from your server and contacting us.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions.
- Discord — as required for bot operation via Discord API.
5. Your Rights
Server administrators control which features are enabled. Users may contact us to request information about stored data or deletion where applicable under GDPR.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect stored data. No system is 100% secure; use the bot at your discretion.
7. Children
NgC Bot is not directed at children under 13. Discord's Terms require users to meet minimum age requirements in their region.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
